Back in December of 2024 I was in need of reconnecting with God My Father! I was failing with my spirituality. Something inside of me was telling me I needed to go back to church. 3 weeks prior, I had three churches in mind to visit. The first one I chose was "The Local Church" which is now called "Valor". I was so welcomed and impressed with the whole church family that I didn't even go to the other two churches. Pastor Justin introduced himself and made time for me to get to know each other. I absolutely love how you can be yourself at Valor and no one judges you. Valor church has a lot of supporters and opportunities to fit your needs! I absolutely love this church and it's family! My wife and I tried several churches and found ourselves a home at Valor Church. From the first service we attended we found ourselves most welcome by both the pastor and church members. Valor Church's 4 pillars of Unapologetic Preaching, Unashamed Worship, Unceasing Prayer, and Unafraid Witness resonate with us. Valor's simply the best!

My family and I moved to Arvada over a year ago, and after visiting several churches, we found Valor here in Northwest Arvada. The first thing that captured us was the solid bible teaching from pastor Justin, then it got better from there. People were very welcoming and friendly, and we made connections immediately. It was precisely what we needed, being new in town. If you are in the Five Parks/Candelas area, I would highly recommend it!

I recently started attending Valor Church in NW Arvada after coming for a Celebration of Life service, and I’m so glad I did. Pastor Justin is genuine, compassionate, and speaks with honesty that really resonates. The people here are incredibly friendly and supportive, which made me feel welcome right away. It can be difficult to find a church that teaches God’s Word clearly and without compromise, and Valor has been exactly that for me. If you’re looking for a place that is authentic, welcoming, and committed to teaching the truth, I highly recommend giving Valor a visit.

This church is a fully Bible-Believing church! They love Jesus and the people are genuine. I’m so thankful that I get to be a part of this community of believers. Also, the kids program is on point! My 6 year old loves her sunday class. The curriculum for the kiddos is amazing. It’s been so refreshing to be a part of Valor church and under Justin’s leadership. There is no ego with Justin. He loves his church and preaches the Word wholeheartedly. Can’t say enough good things about this church ♥️

We’ve attended Valor church in Arvada for several Sundays now and our son has attended the youth group on Wednesday evenings. I find the church to be incredibly welcoming and friendly. I appreciate the thoughtful approach to the community Valor is building. The message is based on Bible and the worship is joyful. This is a church that prays and I appreciate the reverence with which we approach the scripture. It’s been very easy and rewarding to settle into this church home.

My husband and I have been attending Valor Church since October 2025 and it immediately felt like home. We were welcomed with open arms by Pastor Justin and the church family. Justin is authentic, bold and unapologetic about preaching God's word. He makes us laugh, cry and sets our hearts on fire. Valor church is a church for anyone and everyone. Join us on Sundays in NW Arvada (minutes from the neighborhoods of: Candelas, Trailstone, Whisper creek, Leyden Rock, Five Parks, Spring Mesa) you won't regret it!

Valor church has been my home church for about the past 2 years. Leadership aims to faithfully teach and follow Gods word as found in the Bible (CSB), and beyond teaching I find the people to be very friendly, and try to live as community. Justin (head pastor) is a humble guy, but never afraid to stand up for what the bible has to say, regardless of how culture might differ. I always leave a tip or ask for leadership, even on 5* reviews. My 2c would be I'd love to see a return of going through whole chapters weekly as the basis of sermons. (Whole chapter exegesis)... That and more potlucks, cause who doesn't love a meal after church 😆

My husband and I have been going here for a little over two years and Pastor Justin is amazing he really takes the time to get to know you and he reads the scripture very truthful and unapologetically. Pastor Justin baptized my husband and I and he even married us. Valor Church is definitely a home away from home and I highly recommend ☺️

Valor has been a wonderful new addition to my families spiritual growth. Coming from an amazing church, we needed something new and more personal. We have gotten that in spades. If you're looking for a church that has that warm welcome, speaks straight from scripture and unforgiving in the word of God, Valor is your new home!
