Warm and welcoming congregation. Loved hearing traditional hymns. This was my post earlier until I Spent more time at this congregation and realized the pastor Does not follow biblical teachings in many areas. Very sad.

I'm from Montana and my son was admitted to Denver Childrens Hospital. The pastor came and prayed with my son and I before his surgery. When I attended services on Sunday I felt very welcome and the people where so nice and inviting. The songs blessed my heart and I can still remember the preacher's message 5 months later. Wonderful church. I will be coming back again on my future trips to Denver.

Church members made me feel welcomed my first day there. During the youth camp held at Silver State..the Pastor gave some mighty spiritual preachin & heart-touching stories. God is good!!

Most friendly fundamental independent King James Bible believing Baptist church in the entire Denver area. Pastor Mizer is a preacher, teacher and educator as no other one I have experienced in my 86 years on this earth. All by memory. Best group of piano players and singers in any one church. Choir very polished. Come see for yourself .

Certainly did not feel welcome when I attended services (several times). Predominately Caucasian congregation. Minister should not be interjecting his political views into the services and it is not becoming for him to make derogatory remarks about well known TV ministers/preachers. Shows both jealousy and insecurity. Keep your head in the Good Book and stick to the script. Too many long winded visiting ministers with way too many personal stories. Not what I attend church for.

Excellent house of God! Independent fundamental baptist church, sound doctrine, soul winning, salvation by faith in Jesus Christ through His grace. Good classic hymns and excellent music and choir ministries! Praise the Lord for First Baptist Church of Englewood!
