Pastor Jay and Pastor David are great; thoughtful and well studied. Rosie and Heather and Kim and Leslie at Kidztown are devoted and nurturing and kind. …

Every time I have gone there they have always been kind and treated me with respect. About a year and a half ago found out they have office hours During the week in the middle of the day that a person who was struggling with some sort of Overwhelming obstacle could go and ask for prayer and even in some cases , help to overcome whatever difficulty they were facing. They have been amazing church and such a blessing to the community.

They were not hospitable - very discordant with today’s teaching of being empathetic. The ushers and service staff were off putting, unhelpful and largely unfriendly. It doesn’t seem like the even congregation wants to make new people feel welcome either: arriving late means you’re in the way, and people will have to move a little (while in the same seat) so you can get to the empty chair a couple of seats in from the aisle. The pastor sounded nice and was a little funny though

We attended Easter Sunday service with our daughter and son-in-law. Wonderful service, friendly people, welcoming place that honors God, the Bible and the risen Lord, Jesus Christ. So blessed that our kids have found a home in this church. When we come back to California, we will visit again.

This is a great church that is very involved in local and global missions. During the main services Steve and other pastors do a great job of speaking in a way that people who are new to church and those that have been around a while can get something out of the message. It is a large church so to get to know others in the church I would highly recommend joining a Life Group.

After coming up from southern California about a year ago and looking at different churches, this is my home. They speak from the bible and practice what they preach. Friendly, open, good leadership. They focus on community and the people around them and the city is a better place because of them. Really really glad to call this place my he church.

This was the first church we attended as it came up first on a Google search for churches in San Jose. So we were a bit skeptical. But we were greatly surprised. The worship is wonderful, the sermons are impactful, thoughtful and interesting and the grounds are inviting and fun. The cons: The music/ worship is loud. They do offer ear plugs. But if you like to hear yourself sing, you'll be disappointed. I saw this as an opportunity to sing loud It is a big church so be prepared to join a Life Group (small group) in order to meet people. Although I find you need to do that for any church size. I always left the service refreshed and ready to engage in another week for The Lord. I also loved the opportunity to serve with Westgate Water. The church collects, sorts and redeems any CA CRV products and gives all the money to find wells in areas that need clean drinking water. They team up with Living Water International to make this possible. It's awesome to see the transformation you can make in someone's life with something that would of been just thrown away. The church looks for opportunities to make a difference in their community all in the name of Jesus.

When you volunteer at westgate to host hospitality hour for rotating safe car park, these are the items our guest like to have. Serving others is so rewarding. Giving them a safe place to talk, share, and enjoy food without judgment means a world of hope for them. I'm greatful westgate has partnered with others to provide this safe place for a small handful of homeless people.

I found this church via their website. I loved their design and quickly decided that I would visit the church. It has now been 3+ years since I first attended and I've found some amazing people to call my community. 4/5 stars only because no one is perfect, but all are welcome.

New to California and I'm already unequivocally decided on this church. I've worked and volunteered at many churches from Atlanta to Boston to Scottsdale Arizona and sometime's it would take a hunt to find the right fit, but after only one visit I'm without doubt. Pastor is solid, sermon rocked, preaching princapals I agree with and grounded in the scripture. I'll be attending that newcomers event this coming Sunday, you better believe!

The First Person I meet on My First Visit to Westgate Saratoga was Debbie the Coffee Lady. Her first impression on me of Christian Love carried thru The entire Church. Westgate is the Greatest. Parking is at a premium so visitors need to get there early. Roger Cloud

I've been attending this church for 6+ years. A great community. Great children's program, and for adults, parking can be tight though

We had gone here several years ago. Much has changed. Grateful they were able to facilitate a memorial for our beloved family member.

Such a real place, so authentic, not fake. Warm people, truth from the Bible, a people who do their best to focus on loving God, one another and our neighbors, in true Jesus style.
