This place is incredibly beautiful and peaceful, offering a serene atmosphere surrounded by kind-hearted people and a divine presence that uplifts the soul. The temple is well-maintained, and the spiritual energy here is truly calming. One of the highlights is the prasad served every evening, which adds to the overall experience and makes each visit feel special. A must-visit destination for anyone in or around San Jose seeking tranquility, devotion, and a deep sense of community.

Humble Hindu temple in an unassuming late backed into an alley. But there is true faith here, folks come here to feel connected and pray in a place that has community and connection. You can grab a bite and browse through what feels like a nice Indian backyard garden.

I recently visited this temple in San Jose, CA, and had a truly peaceful and divine experience. The Venkateshwara idol is beautifully decorated, and the atmosphere inside the temple feels very calming and positive. The priests are welcoming, the temple is well maintained, and the daily rituals are done with a lot of devotion. I felt a strong sense of spiritual energy the moment I entered. It’s a wonderful place to sit quietly, pray, and feel connected. Anyone looking for a serene and devotional environment in the Bay Area should definitely visit. A very blessed experience overall.

While you expect a place of worship to be filled with pleasant conversation and reverence, I unfortunately witnessed the opposite. I hope the temple management addresses the conduct of its volunteers to ensure a respectful environment for all. Especially the women volunteer.

Recently, we went for a car puja in the evening. The regular young priest was busy with archana at the temple, so the administration suggested an elderly Tamil priest instead. He charged $100 for the temple and $50 as dakshina. We felt it was very commercial, especially since the puja was not performed properly despite charging that much. Initially, he said $100 was for the temple, and when we mentioned paying by card, he insisted that cash was preferable. In hindsight, it was our mistake not to confirm the temple fee in advance. Overall, we were not satisfied with either the way the puja was done or with the priest’s commercial attitude.

I am leaving this review for a volunteer women there. She comes with her son and has insulted me multiple times. I always respectfully listen and ignore her rude offensive behavior but enough is enough now. I am going to complain even if she is she founder of the temple because you cannot insult and humiliate people like this if someone is politely listening and respecting the place.

Peaceful place for Hindu worship. Primary deity is Ganesha with many other deities around him. Poojas held very systematically with chanting of vedic mantras. They offer tasty prasadams with coffee after Pooja. Good community atmosphere.

Over all it’s great place to be but Temple does not follow Timings specially on weekends. Many times temples get closed before it’s closing time (in morning). I saw today 6-7 families waiting out side of temple @ 12:15 but temple was closed. Few families came from far places. 😞Outside notice board & website say that closing time is 1:00 pm. Requesting temple management to take care of this.
