Silence, bells, creaking benches, sisters praying in Latin, Spanish and English. Chants, hymns. Peace punctuated by people. What you get here lasts forever. Beautiful, sacred space. MUNI bus right outside the door, free street parking hard to get but say a prayer and one will appear. Difficult to leave this place but life calls. Refreshment in the spirit from the Holy Spirit. Help the sisters, drop in a donation, light a candle. They are praying for you 24/7 and share their prayer space with you freely.

A wonderful place to come in and pray before God Himself. If you want a beautiful and accessible chapel where the Holy Eucharist is exposed in San Francisco, look no further than this chapel. The chapel is beautiful. Aside from the Novus ordo table in front of the altar, the place looks like a historic Catholic church. While they only offer the Novus Ordo Mass here, they have hosted the Tridentine Latin Mass before. I hope the TLM becomes more common here. In the mean time, I highly recommend coming here for Eucharistic Adoration.

In 2018 my 72 year old father spent several weeks in the ICU at UCSF after suffering an aneurysm. My two sisters, mother and I prayed for his recovery at this church after finding it through an internet search. I truly believe we witnessed a miracle in the form of his recovery. Dad is with us still. And I am forever grateful to God and his holy workers that make churches such as this available all over the world so that his people may find refuge and solace as He draws us nearer to His holy love. I hope to someday return here with Dad so we can thank the Lord together.

So happy to find this beautiful chapel. I payed a on a Thursday. It was a peaceful experience, quiet. Before leaving I called the main office number. They gave me directions to the store located inside the monastery. There are two gates, one gate for the chapel door and one gate ( with stairs)that you must push the button to be buzzed in . They were very sweet and helpful. I will most definitely visit again.
