Shame about Harbour House. Why was that community disbanded? It was a pearl of the Catholic community in San Francisco. It blessed and provided a sense of home and cultivated learning for so many young adults. I’ve lived around the world and that house was a huge and unique blessing. Very disappointing the school and church shifted its support of it.

My daughter attends this school and other than the cost being difficult we love it!! She adores the teachers and staff who are all sincerely sweet, the older kids are paired as “buddy’s” with the younger ones, my favorite part is that she’s taught about Being a respectful/ responsible/ kind and caring person as the virtues of believing in God- which in my eyes is more important than the religious aspect (though they do teach Catholic colonialism) I also appreciate that in the class the teacher welcomes cultural traditions and beliefs from the home as a share & tell 💜 The school campus is safe and secure. My daughter loves going to school so they’re definitely doing something right!! As we all know, it starts in the home but it takes a village to raise healthy children!! Shout out to -Elena G. Mrs. Diaz, Mrs Holland and the room parents (and I’m forgetting others) for holding it down.

Saint Phillips Church as well as the school is one of the most incredibly impeccable churches and schools in San Francisco. The history of the church as well as the academic level of education is fantastic! I was a student there from 1970 to 1975 and I have incredible memories. I made my first communion there, watch family members get married there and my parents were very much involved in the church. I love Saint Philips

This again is another personal post as I have attended many weddings at this parish! Right in the heart of knoe Valley you will find this quaint, mid century Catholic Church! The doors are always open, so come on in and say a prayer or light the candle for your loved one! This is a great parish
