A friendly small church that meets in a community center Sundays at 10:30 am. The church is mostly young professionals and families with small children... Great childcare and children's programs are available during service and small fellowship groups meet during the week.

    1) Though the church is small, the leadership and members are intentional about being involved in the community, whether through individuals serving in the community on their own time or through events sponsored by the church. 2) I have experienced genuine community here. Especially in small groups, people are really willing to share life together and be vulnerable. I have grown a lot in my faith because of the community here and the willingness to both support and challenge one another. They also know how to have fun together (usually over food). 3) Because it is a small church, a majority of those who come every Sunday are actively involved in serving in some way. You really get a sense of the church being the body of Christ where every member plays an active role in making the body function. 4) I really appreciate Pastor Brian's teaching.

Great little community for those who tend to feel lost in those mega churches. Everyone is friendly and welcoming, the approach to faith thoughtful and sincere. We love the sermons both for their depth and how easily we can apply their messages to our own lives. We enjoy community gatherings - Sunday meals about every four weeks, get togethers for women and for men, retreats about once a year, etc.

We have been going here for years with my family. I appreciate the small church which help facilitates a close nit community. My kids have grown up with great role models the they have found in the older kids at church. I have found some close brother and sisters in Christ to fellowship with. The church has monthly community meals after Sunday to foster new relationships, so come on by and check us out.

What I appreciate most about LSCC East Bay is that the church tries to meet the needs of our growing congregation. We have more young families in our church, and therefore, new kids, ranging from birth to middle school. The church leadership has really invested in creating a Sunday School ministry (Kidzplace) that would teach our kids about Jesus. Additionally, the Kidzplace teachers email parents follow up lessons so that we could engage and continue the conversation of what our kids learned at home. Our kids really enjoy Kidzplace and look forward to church on Sundays.

I've been a member for years, and I love the vision and direction of the church towards being relevant in today's environment. The community is close knit and welcoming. I appreciate Pastor Brian's well thought out messages and application for how to live as a person of faith. The children's ministry is growing which is important for my family.

The Pastor is wise and patient while the community is amazing here. Everyone is like family, I know all churches say that but I got sick (just a cold) and people were dropping off soup and helping with dinner. We recently adopted a boy from Taiwan and there was so much prayer and encouragement during that time. Now that the boy is here randomly we'll get food dropped off or gifts. The pastor met with us to ask how the community can help.. There's no place like this!

This is a loving and caring church community, who serves the local and global community. Pastor Brian Hui gives biblically sound, relevant and moving messages. There are small groups that serve people in different life stages. There is a kids ministry for Sundays as well.

Small (about 50 people) person church.A mix of singles, married , and families with kids. Folks are really friendly, and welcoming. Pastor also seems very friendly and welcoming. They also have donuts and coffee for people who get there on time.

LSCC East Bay is a small and friendly church. Pastor Brian is very personal and nuanced in theology. Love the emphasis on sharing meals in order to build community, and connecting with Union City at large.

This church is filled with authentic people who want to grow in Christ. After attending this church for about ten years, it has challenged and helped me grow my faith deeper in Christ. They're friendly and welcoming group who are proactive in serving the local community.

I've been attending this church for 10+ years. It's a small, authentic and welcoming group of people that cares for its members and the community. Pastor is down to earth and a great teacher.

Small, down-to-earth community and church situated in the heart of Union City. Solid teaching, good people. It also offers programs for children and toddlers. Group is mostly Asian-American.
