This is a small, older church with a mostly older congregation. The music is very old school compared to some of the other churches I've been to. They have frequent get togethers and potlucks in a very large banquet room below the church. Everything is handicap accessible and the people are very welcoming and friendly.

I was just visiting while on a business trip. I felt very welcome, even being greeted by someone else on their way into church as I was getting out of my vehicle. I was invited by several from the church to join them for their Thanksgiving meal following the morning service.

First Baptist Church is a warm and loving church. Everyone makes you feel welcome no matter who you are or where you come from. They are inviting and my kids have loved every moment attendting this church. Everyone, I hope you come and visit and you will not be disappointed.

So the first time I went I did not feel welcomed. I was in a hoodie and jeans. Second time I did feel welcomed by one guy, deacon I think he was. I was dressed differently. He didnt even remember me from the first time. Appearance I guess. Lots of singing, not what I am used to but it seems ok so far. Safe.

The church was beautifully decorated, easy to find & the pastor gave the best celebration of life service. Downstairs where the reception was held was very spacious & clean.

If you want to learn true biblical doctrine from The Holy Word, come to this church. Teaching is true and always from the Bible. Don't take my word for it, read your Bible, then come check it out for yourself.

They seem to forget about the elderly and sick who can’t make it into the church but were going for years before hand. Sad.
