Found this church via instagram in December when I moved from San Francisco , previously attending Hillsong SF, to Campbell in search of a new church home. The moment I walked into service, I was welcomed with warm smiles and greetings with heartfelt worship music and service that connected God's word to our modern daily life. The leadership team did not hesitate to get newcomers connected into the community making everyone feel welcome. Within a month I was plugged into a connect group, school of Faith classes, and serving. I came in looking for a new church home and community and got so much more; we do LIFE with each other and continue to build our family/community with Jesus at the center Come as you are - all are welcome

Our family has been members of Awakening Church for four years! We feel spiritually fed through Pastor Ryan's sermons and supported by the wonderful and welcoming community. There are so many opportunities to serve in the church and the surrounding area. Our three children love the youth and kids programs as well. Would highly recommend anyone looking for a home church!

Awakening church is a great church the people are really following the Lord. They invest a lot of time money in outreach to people in the community. The people are not judgmental and love people around them. The worship is good and the teaching is solid. I never felt judge or I was too bad of a person to go church. Check out the church. I promise you won't regret it.

Awakening has been our (family of 5 plus some extensions) home church since late October and each and every week we've been more and more encouraged that we are building a community in the right place. Not only is the community incredibly warm and welcoming, but there has been no inorganic pushing nor urging to serve, give or be involved. Which leads me to believe that every volunteer, and it's easy to see, loves to serve God and love on people without any kind of unseen pressure within the church. The pastoral staff from the top down have been preaching truth and backing it with Scripture, and have already hit us with some intense sermons and series solely focused on truth as it's written. No fluff nor feel good prosperity gospel here. 10/10

I went with a friend after ice skating on January 9th of 2013 for the pizza party and after speaking with the leaders and people, I knew immediately that this was a great group of people with whom I wanted to walk together. I have since grown from a spectator to serving on three different teams in this great community. All aspect of the church is great, from an amazing vision, passionate worship, living messages, solid leadership, and a healthy congregation. Like anywhere else, how much you receive depends on how much effort you invest. Over the years, I have developed strong friendships. There are plenty of opportunities to fellowship outside of bible study and church. While life has taken some of them away from my life and them leaving has been personally excruciatingly painful, this growing community is without a doubt full of life and faith.

This church is Alive, with a capital "A"! Great worship, compelling teaching and welcoming community. Awakening Church has some of the best worship we have encountered. Teaching is real, practical and honest. Ryan and Jenny Ingram lead this church with passion and arms that are wide open. Our entire family looks forward to each Sunday - our teenage kids will eagerly go by themselves, even if my wife and I are out of town. The cross-generational appeal of services is something we really appreciate. Love that the community includes students (a lot from SJSU and SCU), young families, established families and even some grandparents. The kids ministry is well organized and a focus. We are so grateful to have stumbled across Awakening, which we are excited to now call our church home!

Awakening church is a nondenominational Christian church that is a warm and inviting place to find connection with Christ and other believers. It is largely populated by college and young professional age folks but the welcoming and mature atmosphere is amazing for all ages and stages of life. Sunday gatherings and mid week small groups are the backbone of how we connect. The church is very tech savvy and hosts church online each week for those who can’t attend in person.

I first came to Awakening as college student at SJSU looking for a place where I could feel comfortable learning about what it was like to follow Jesus. Years later, I find myself out of college and now more deeply connected to this community where I have felt invested in, cared for, and appreciated; so much so, that I wouldn't want anyone to miss experiencing what Awakening Church has to offer to the Silicon Valley. Regardless of past experiences with church, this is an incredible place for anybody in any stage of life to explore Christian spirituality.
