Was laughed at, told to be quiet, told to sit down. Talked to many former members around Safford. There are many questions about the inner operations of this Church and its entire Corporate Franchise Structure. The River is the Applebees of Church. The money that goes to Uganda could be used in Pima. While the Pastor complains from the pulpit that the Overabundance provided by the 20% of the congregation that gives regularly, chastising the non giving 80% God DOES NOT OPERATE A CREDIT CARD COMPANY OR A PYRAMID SCHEME, that was the Egyptians. As a Tyrean/Pauline Christian, this place now feels like s as place Jesus would top ple a table. Luckily for me… my old Family Church, Mt. Caramel Missionary Baptist out on Cholla Drive was ready for just my kind of Worship. They are now Narrow Road Disciples Ministries and Pastors Rich & Tandi are some of the warmest and hard working people I’ve met! I’m proud they are caring forward worship and teaching in a manner that has been present in the Gila Valley since it was moved here from GreenLee County where it was Stargo Baptist Church, Established in the late 1960s by a couple families, one being mine. My Grandfather’s people (Marvin Tomlin) have been Clergy in this Valley for Four Generations continuously. On my Grandmother’s Side (Clark/Claridge/Hickman) we have been here since the ORIGINAL SETTLEMENT of the Gila Valley as Pioneers. Be smart about your selection of Service. If everything is brand new… maybe go help a church with a failing roof and wonder why your church isn’t helping them before helping those in far of places. We are Tyrean/Heathen/Pagani Krystians, We are charged to be as we were, Gentile, and yet to serve Christ and Teach his message to All Nations. We are One Tribe…

I was looking for FELLOWSHIP and LOVE for JESUS and ME, I found that in the RIVER. I'm so excited to go to church, the people are so welcoming, happy, and accepting. That's the most important feeling for me. My old church was full of spectators, judgers, and not welcoming at all. Here at the RIVER I FEEL HOLY LOVE. THANK YOU PASTER DAVID.

I leave a poor rating, as I do most religious institutions. I entered a rough time in my life where I needed assistance, financially. Consider this a social experiment and I have asked multiple churches for food, but none have answered. This is the first I've asked for funds, not to me, but to be paid directly to the proprietors of my residence. No response. Same as all the rest. No one owes me anything, but you expect a response of some type from a church. If there is a "god" he or she should beg me for forgiveness, not the other way around. Why don't you people nail yourselves to crosses and make the world a better place?

I love this church and all of the people in it. It has literally changed my life!! Eric Baietti baptized me there and it washed away my sins and gave me new life and purpose. When I wasn't able to attend service for 2 weeks I received a beautiful card signed by all the pastors. I have been homeless for 5 years and when I first started meeting people from the church, they were bringing me meals from the outreach and now after service on Sunday morning I am helping serve the outreach meals. God is so good and I am so grateful for such an amazing church and beautiful people in my life. Every day is now a blessing. I look forward to going to church and to serving my community! God bless you River Church!! You have changed my life and I am forever grateful!!!

First visit today for the 10 o'clock service I was a bit late but very welcoming still Cookies for free Great coffee bar Although I had driven from Willcox so I was coffee fueled already for sure I really liked the spirit of everyone that talked And the music And I don't usually enjoy the music much at churches The words to the songs yes not usually the actual music if that makes sense I'm glad I stopped today I really liked how they celebrated members present that were in recovery. Starting at 10 years recovery or being sober Going down to a week! And everyone clapped for each milestone
