I was lead to this church by God! From the first time I walked inside the sanctuary, I knew I was in the right place. It has been a while since my husband and myself have attended in-person service, because of transportation, but as soon as God allows us to, we will be back. Pastor Victor Rushing, and his gorgeous wife Michelle Rushing are truly a God sent. The way they minister to us is great. You can't help but to be drawn in. He/they give us the unadulterated gospel of Jesus Christ. I've only been in Arizona a few years, and after Covid, I had no intentions of ever going back to in person service. But, things has truly changed, I can't wait to get back to my loving, and caring Progressive COGIC family. If you're looking for a great church home, please give them a chance. Sis. Gwen Brown

I thoroughly enjoyed myself at Sunday school and church services today! The sanctuary was clean warm and inviting. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. The whole church welcomed the visitors with a beautiful song! The music was amazing! Thank you for having me. I will be back again! Bring friends and family enjoy.

This church is great for family. Always there to help when needed. Pastor Victor J. Rushing Sr. was charged with the awesome mandate to pastor the Progressive Church of God in Christin the city of Phoenix, AZ in January of 2001. He took over this ministry with missions in mind and birth an Outreach ministry that feeds and clothes those in need this has led him into Uganda, Africa ministering. In addition to his trailblazing excellence in Missions. He has demonstrated an awesome ability to proclaim God’s word with power and authority. Pastor Rushing was the President of the Mission for the State of Arizona. He is anointed and appointed for such a time as this.

My wife and I have never felt so welcome at any church before!! The Pastor's message was beautiful, concise, and uplifting. The choir was invigorating, the band/drummer are very talented! The whole congregation listened intently to every one of the Pastor's words. The only negative, was that we could not stay until the end. Because, of a previous commitment.
