I started volunteering at the weekly Food Pantry a year ago after I retired. This experience is a highpoint of my week! Our diverse team of hard working volunteers have a common goal to provide a generous amount of fresh fruits & vegetables, canned goods, dry goods, breads, and a meat product and more to everyone who comes through the door. It can be hard work to wrestle 50 pound bags of carrots, or sort a pallet of frozen meals, but I am blessed by the smiles and gratitude of our guests who come through the line. We try our best to serve everyone in a timely manner. Thursdays. 12:30 - 3:30 p.m.

I came to the food pantry when i first moved to AZ. Everyone there has been nice except for Crystal who apparently is the one in charge of running the food shelf at the church. I have been coming there for a year and in that year Crystal has proven to be a very rude and disrespectful person. She's always in bad mood and is a very bitter person. I have witnessed her being rude and disrespectful to many people since I have been coming there. She has been very mean and hateful to me on three different occasions, including today when I went there to get a food box. I came in because I wanted to speak to the young lady who works there and she has long black hair and olive skin. Her and I spoke about Crystals nasty behavior and the reason why I wanted to speak to this young lady with the black hair is because I wanted to come there and volunteer my time to help out but after the way I was treated today and all the other days by Crystal I don't want to go volunteer my time somewhere and have a "supervisor" like Crystal running the place. She's very unprofessional and has no manners or respect.

This business/church is ruining the neighborhood for residents and visitors. They’ve accommodated homeless people doing drugs on every corner of their property, and this has spilled over to the surrounding properties. We get the intent of their care, however their lack of respect for local community members is disgusting. Feel free to drive by during the day to notice what I’m referring to.
