Just moved here from Las Vegas. The sense of community at Monte Vista and their commitment to Christ is inspiring. This church loves it's city. From the moment my husband and I first walked in with our two daughters under the age of two, we felt like it was home. If you're looking for warmth and a family-friendly atmosphere, this is it. We've been coming for almost 2 months and we are very happy we found this church.

When my grandmother passed away recently, we contacted the pastor to let him know since our grandmother was such a big part of Monte Vista giving both her time, money, and attending on a regular basis. His response was "Yeah, I heard". Nothing regarding condolences or even reaching out when he heard she had fallen ill. I wouldn't make this church your home church as the pastor is calloused and uncaring. I can't believe that we received this level of compassion for everything she went through and had done for the church. Definitely not a good example of Christian behavior.
