Our family has been attending Desert Springs Church in the Phoenix and Chandler area since 2018, and it has truly changed our lives. If you’re looking for a welcoming church with a strong biblical foundation, this is an incredible place to grow in your faith. Desert Springs has had a huge impact on our marriage and our family. We were all saved here, and the teaching, community, and support have helped us grow closer to God and to each other. The kids ministry and youth programs are outstanding. Our children grew up in the kids ministry and are now in youth, and we’ve seen firsthand how much they are loved, supported, and grounded in truth. What really sets this church apart is the depth of community it offers. From women’s and men’s Bible studies to HOPE (Help Overcoming Painful Experiences) and recovery groups, there truly is something for everyone in every season of life. It truly doesn’t matter where you are in your walk with the Lord, whether you’re just curious or looking to deepen your relationship, you are welcomed here. If you’re searching for a church in the Phoenix, Gilbert, Mesa or Chandler area that feels like home, with strong biblical teaching, meaningful community, and real opportunities to grow closer to God, I highly recommend Desert Springs Church.

Desert Springs leadership, members, and the community are so faithful and obedient to the Lord. The entire Pastoral team, and staff directly represent Jesus in such a positive and Christ like manner. I gave my life to Jesus here a little more than four years ago. From the powerful Spirit filled worship, to the community groups, there is something for everyone here. If you live in the valley or are just visiting stop on by for a beautiful service!

This was our second time at Desert Springs Church. I love the Assemblies of God for their focus on being Spirit filled Christ followers. The leadership of this church has been consistent in giving me that impression. The worship leaders brought me into the presence of the Most High where I could bring my sacrifice of praise. The message (sermon) was brought by a guest speaker, but it was true to the Word and applicable to today. I'd go again if I was in Chandler on a Saturday or Sunday.

I don't go to church here. I go to a Monday night men's trauma recovery group called HOPE (Helping Overcome Painful Experiences). I don't even know the name of the guy who I'm pretty sure was the pastor, but he did not give me that 😱 pastor kinda vibe at all. I mean sometimes when someone made a great comment you'd hear him mutter "praise God" under his breath, but this place is an Assembly of God Church and I'm telling you I could have told the pastor that I'm a Mormon with a firm belief in reincarnation and he'd have been like "well welcome, come on in AJ. We're glad to have you." THAT kind of open acceptance and genuine Christ like love for all is really really rare. I started coming to this group because my good friend who also happens to be my plumber (seriously the guy has saved my ass so many times) that I know from another group told me it was the best recovery group he's found. And I agree. I like that we don't follow the regular 12 step format. I LOVE that we don't follow the "mandatory" 12 step method of introducing ourselves "hi I'm AJ, and I'll NEVER be healed" kinda BS. It's just "hey I'm AJ." That's it. I don't have to state anything about my trauma or qualify that the awful inhumane things I saw done to children in my 9 years as a paramedic and an ER nurse are bad enough that I can stay and share at a trauma recovery group. Nothing like that. What we did at that meeting was read from a book for quite some time. We were all allowed to comment during the reading if something came to mind (I love that). If a second thing came to mind later on, nobody said "uh no, you shared something already." And after the reading we all got to share loosely on the same topic. Good people here. Seriously.

I encountered Desert Springs almost 6 years ago and I have been coming regularly EVER since! Lead Pastor Brad and Pastor Becky are true examples what it looks like to walk in the light of Jesus! The sense of community and belonging is strong within the church, and I appreciated the welcoming atmosphere that the members create. The pastors deliver engaging sermons that inspire and uplift. The worship services are well-organized and the music is always up-lifting. The church also offers various programs and opportunities for spiritual growth and service, which I find to be very valuable. I am extremely blessed to be a part of this church community and am grateful for the impact Jesus and this church have made on my life. The people here wrap you like a warm blanket. You will always feel welcomed and invited here! I have attended more than a few churches in my day and this one grabbed me and has not let me go! This is exactly what I had always imagined a church "FAMILY HOME" would feel like!!!

"Trunk or Treat" on Oct 18 was an OUTSTANDING event! Very well organized with plenty of parking and lots of different activities for the kiddos. "Officially" it wasn't supposed to start until 6pm, but our crowd got there a little before 6 and there were already kids having a blast. We stayed till about 7 and there were still folks coming in. Kudos to the folks that organized and put together this fun event for the local community. Great job and THANK YOU!

Going to Desert Springs Church feels like home. The sense of community is pervasive among staff, volunteers and community members. Best of all, in my opinion, is listening to Lead Pastor Brad Davis preach. He’s genuine, sincere and his love for Christ is reflective in his discipling to ALL. DSC welcomes all people wherever you are in your walk with Christ. I love this church community and especially their staff. God bless you all!

I walked into desert springs about 4 years ago as far as I could be from Christian. People at this church made me feel accepted and loved like never before and they accepted me exactly how I was. Looking back I have no idea where I would be without them, and they support me again and again helping me to set my eyes on Christ and showed me the love of god before I knew who he was. God really works through these people again and again and I’ve felt him so many times in this church. The leaders are amazing, and pastor Asheley the leader of our young adults sisterhood group has spoken some of the most meaningful words into my life that I will never forget. This is the place I found my faith and the place I find peace in my situation again and again. They are all about coming as you are, and I’ve always felt welcomed and held at this church. If it wasn’t for desert springs and they’re amazing staff and followers of Christ I don’t know where I would be at today. Don’t be afraid to give it a shot. :)

Outstanding, frendly and welcoming staff and congregation. Childcare department was courteous and the speedy check in and out was excellent with the proper safe guards for child pickup. The sermon was bible based and the pastors delivery was easy to understand with excellent insight. There even notes provided. If a new church is in your future this would be a great place to begin you search.
