I think the message is fine and the pastors really teach biblically (which is great, bc you don't get that a lot these days), but the congregation seems very clique-y. Christian Challenge kinda stinks too. Probably won't come back physically.

Although, I live in the neighborhood, I just never noticed this wonderful church nestled in. This was the best EASTER EGG Hunt by far. …

This is my home church. We have a heart for everyone but also have a lot of students. We have free lunches every month for college kids and people that wish to interact with and serve college kids. We also have a lunch for international students every month for the same reason. Mission trips happen around the world. We have a good youth program. Child care is present and always looking for volunteers. Before and in between services we have a coffee bar that I help run with some awesome volunteers. The in-between time also has a nice freshly made treat for everyone. We value members and newcomers alike and have a strong biblical foundation. We have small groups for people to get together on a more personal level and classes of varying topics throughout each semester. Wednesday nights has youth group, child care, and disciple makers classes. It's a lovely family to be a part of and we have churches we pray for and love as well if you want to hear about others.

I am very proud to call myself a member of Church on Mill and have a tight-knit family within the community. Pastor Church Newkirk is exceptional and his profound sermons are one of the many reasons I call Church on Mill home. Of course, if I was able to attend every Sunday I would one hundred percent do so but unfortunately, as I am no longer residing near Tempe and rather far out in the Glendale area now, and currently that task is much harder to accomplish than it would be otherwise. However, due to my love and support of Church on Mill I still do come out and to this day consider this church my home and regardless of distance still make sure to come out to attend whenever I can do so. I have practiced Christianity all of my life and since birth and before Church on Mill belonged to a nondenominational church, but Church on Mill is what lead me towards baptist Christianity

So glad to finally get back in church after covid shutdowns and having a baby. They take appropriate precautions like sign-ups for the services, staggered seating based on sign-ups, masks to pass out in case you forgot... So great to hear everyone singing together again.

At their welcome barbecue, I had several interactions that were cold and dismissive. Possibly because when they asked what denomination I was raised in, and I answered, and the answer wasn't Baptist....
