Why go to church? Oh, I know! To attend a loving church that has love, hugs, and kisses. Just kidding on the kisses. If you need direction, guidance, and fellowship, Calvary Chapel of Sahuarita is equipping the saints. Pastor JK is blessed and his teachings are noble and tested against the Word. The Word is established in this Calvary Chapel church. We are blessed working with Operation Christmas Child shoe boxes to save souls around the world through Samaritan's Purse.

I love everything about this church. The pastor is a great teacher. Every month on the first Sunday of the month is a potluck. Games on the second and fourth Sundays. Thursday service, men's and women's ministries. Very active church ⛪️

I have found that teaching verse by verse is the best way to learn. JK does just that. He invites you to read-check everything he teaches. His honesty sometimes makes me think he is talking just to me. He does not back down from preaching the word! The congregation welcomed me in warmly. There are many places to help and become more involved, instead of sitting on a pew and not getting involved. Please come check us out for yourself! The worship team is great, and there are classes for every age group. The Holy Spirit and you are welcomed here. Love this church!

We found Calvary Chapel a year ago and like Pastor JK’s method of preaching the Gospel. He is all about the Bible being the inspired word of God and the final authority. He believes Jesus Christ died on the cross for the sins of all mankind and is the risen savior; one must accept Jesus as their savior if they wish entry into Heaven. He is not afraid to touch the so called “third rail”. He preaches the truth from the Bible. Period. He is a firm believer in our constitutional rights and does not shy away from expressing his opinion. He greets you coming and going. The congregation are a friendly bunch. We enjoy the many church activities aside from Sunday sermons. If you go, be prepared to hear the truth.

The first time my husband and I came here, we knew this was our church home. Pastor JK teaches book by book and doesn't avoid the hard topics. Everyone here is friendly and willing listen and help if you need it. My husband and I love this church and all of the people that are a part of it.

If you want a no-frills church that feeds on the inerrant word of God, then look no further. Experience the welcoming and loving body, who are bound in the unity of Jesus Christ. The worship music is pure and sweet and glorifies God, not man. Pastor JK truly has a shepherd's heart, is open and transparent, even with the tough issues; as is his supporting wife, Karen. I consider myself blessed to be a member of this body.

You will get solid biblical truth here. We live in Colorado, but anytime we are out visiting my in-laws, we will be coming back.

Finally found a church that delivers uncompromising Biblical truth. Pastor JK is one of the most amazing individuals who from the pulpit, takes you into a journey every Sunday and applies God’s law to our everyday scope. I love this church. The neighborly compassion and friendly atmosphere is true and sincere. The musical entourage is vibrant and easy to view words are shot on the forward walls for singing along with. Numerous programs and prayer applications here for everyone. Fantastic church with a positive vibe! Come for a visit; you’ll certainly want to come back!

Pastor JK teaches the Bible, verse by verse, with no deviation from the truth of the Word Of God. The people are warm, welcoming, with a heart to give of themselves in serving the Lord.
